A graduate of Visayas State University etched her name into LET history after emerging as the nation’s top scorer in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET) – Secondary Level.

Rashil Rae Ramos Recorte secured the No. 1 spot nationwide with an outstanding 95.80 percent rating, one of the highest recorded performances in recent years, according to the Professional Regulation Commission.

Educators and academic leaders hailed Recorte’s achievement as a historic milestone not only for Visayas State University but also for teacher education in the country, citing her performance as a symbol of excellence, perseverance, and the continuing rise of Filipino educators on the national stage.
The achievement has sparked pride across the academic community and inspired thousands of future licensed professional teachers striving to follow in her footsteps.
