ATE GAY UNDERGOES NEW TREATMENT AFTER DOCTORS FIND LUMP NEAR HIS NECK

Comedian and TV personality Ate Gay has revealed that he recently underwent another round of treatment after doctors discovered a lump below his neck, near his shoulder.

In a Facebook post, Ate Gay shared that the lump was detected early and was immediately treated using CyberKnife, a non-invasive robotic radiation therapy that delivers highly targeted radiation to tumors and certain other medical conditions without the need for surgery.

"Nakitaan ako ng bukol sa ibaba ng leeg ko malapit sa balikat na agad nila inagapan gamit ang CyberKnife 1 (5 sessions)," Ate Gay wrote.

Despite the new health challenge, the comedian assured his supporters that his condition has not affected his energy or his ability to perform.

"Hindi naman maaapektuhan ang energy ko dahil dito. Pinapayagan nila ako mag-perform ng bonggang-bongga," he added.

Ate Gay also expressed gratitude to his family, friends, supporters, and medical team for standing by him throughout his treatment.

The update comes months after Ate Gay shared encouraging news that MRI results showed the previous lumps on his neck and nose had already disappeared.

In September 2025, Ate Gay publicly disclosed that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Since then, he has undergone an intensive treatment program that included 35 radiation sessions and chemotherapy five times a week. He later announced that he had completed both radiation and chemotherapy, with doctors observing significant improvement in his condition.

His latest update indicates that while a new lump was detected, it was identified early and promptly treated using CyberKnife therapy.

As of now, Ate Gay continues to recover while remaining active in his career, saying he has been cleared by his doctors to continue performing as he undergoes follow-up care.
